You can control your heating, lighting, multi-room, home cinema and much more from multiple devices including: Smartphones, HAI in-wall colour touchscreens, Philips Pronto remote controls and even your computer. The system is very flexible and can also be integrated with other home automation systems including Crestron.
How Home Control Works
The HAI system is based around a central controller that is constantly monitoring the status of all the automation modules installed in your home and it can be set up to take one or more actions when certain events occur. Such actions include the following:
- Turning down the heating to specific temperature when you set your alarm
- Allowing you control lighting and heating remotely using your iphone or ipad
- Sending text messages alerting you in your alarm is activated
- Make voice announcements over the speakers in the house
- Call up to 8 different numbers to provide notification
- Automatically turning lights on in the evening when you are away.
Events that can be used by the system to takes actions include the following:
- Any change in status in a monitored home system
- Arm or disarm your security system
- A motion detector is tripped
- The temperature at the thermostat changes
- Lights are turned on or off
- Audio system is turned on or off
- Set schedule of days and times. For example, the landscape lights can be turned automatically at dusk and turned off automatically at 10:00 PM.

HAI helps you integrate your entertainment choices into your home. Control all of your A/V equipment and your home’s lighting, temperatures, and other systems from a single remote or Touchscreen.
Hi-Fi by HAI provides multi-room audio in up to 8 different rooms. It allows you to share the music sources that you currently own.
With HAI’s Pronto Link you may change your home theater’s lighting, draw back window shades, and set the room to a perfect temperature, as well as control all of your home theater equipment on a single Philips Pronto remote.
Convenient Interface Options
There are multiple interface options to control your home from either inside or outside the home, which allows you to check and adjust lights, temperature, security, audio, and more.
HAI offers colorful Touchscreens that facilitate graphical control of your HAI system via easy-to-recognize icons. Some models are customizable, which gives you complete control of the look, feel, and function of the Touchscreen. A more vivid, user-friendly graphic interface can be developed based on the homeowner’s lifestyle and interests.
You can check on and change the status of your home over the telephone from either inside or outside your house. Additionally, you can graphically control your home from your Smartphone.
HAI software choices allow you to make changes to your home’s status from anywhere in the world. 
The HAI C3 (Cellular Communications Center) is a wireless cellular communicator that allows phone calls to be made over the GSM cellular network using the existing telephones in your home. The HAI C3 can be used when there is no land line in your home or if the land line is temporarily unavailable.
The HAI C3 is perfect for homeowners without land lines, vacation homes, and locations that need remote monitoring. It works with any standard security panel, including HAI’s Omni family of home controllers, to communicate alarm conditions using the GSM cellular network when the land line or cable phone service has been cut.
